BESPOKE ARTWORK PHOTOGRAPHY - revised 16 April 2022
 

Artsdiary has a specialised digital photography service for artists,
galleries and collectors, who would like their 2-D and 3-D artworks
professionally documented.

By booking my services and visiting my studio you're confirming that you are Covid free at the time of your visit.

We offer:

A large, purpose-built, fully equipped studio in Westmere, with free,
easy parking, and good access.

40+ years experience in lighting and photographing large and small
still life for top-end advertising agencies.

The ability to handle single 2-D art up to 3mx2m - enquire for
larger works.

Specialised flat-field lenses for distortion-free capture of 2-D
artworks.

Colour corrected files, Hi-Res for print production, and Lo-Res
for web use.

Costs:

For 2-D artworks photographed in our studio, the minimum cost is
$150 +gst per session. This includes up to 3 works, thereafter it is
$50 +gst per additional work.

Works made up of multiple panels are priced per panel if
photographed seperately, i.e. a triptych would be considered as 3 works. We can post-process them into one file at no additional cost.

Additional costs may be incurred if works are:
● under glass / perspex
● have gold / copper / silver leaf components
● in deep frames
● irregular shapes that require clear-cutting

For 3-D works please ask for a quote.
 

Terms of Trade:

Payment within 7 days from invoice date.

Also:

In order to achieve high quality, accurate reproductions, we
photograph artworks in our studio, preferably with the artist present.

Legal:

We photograph your work(s) on the condition that you are the
originator and the copyright holder of the said work(s), or that you have commissioned the work(s), and hold all the rights, i.e. without a licensing arrangement with the originator/seller that limits your rights as per "Copyright (Commissioning Rule) Amendment Bill - 2008".

Although I keep the copyright of all my photographs, in this case,
unless agreed otherwise in advance, you'll be provided with a licence to use the photos of your artwork(s) taken by me as you please and in perpetuity.
