Mangere Arts Centre - Tusiata o le Tala o le Vavau: Artists of the Forever Stories
- curated by Linda Va'aelua - 27/05/2023
This exhibition is a homage to artist Iosua To'afa, who illustrated the iconic book
Tala o le Vavau - Myths and legends of Samoa in 1976. Along with original works by To'afa,
it features nine Aotearoa-based Samoan visual artists at varying stages of their careers.
Each artist has created work referencing To'afa's style or a story from his book.
